New York's skyline is recognized by many, even without the iconic movie star hanging from the Empire State Building, which is one of the tallest buildings in the world. Right after that, you might recognize the iconic Art Deco building - the Chrysler, built in 1930. The cityscape is so large and dense, it's almost hard to take in all in one look - you just want to go back for more. Luckily it "never sleeps" so you have all day and night to enjoy our #69 AbsoluteVisit.

The New York City Skyline is the world's most classic iconic skyline. When you think of a skyline or
if you see a photo or illustration of a skyline, it probably resembles New York City's in some way,
shape, or form.
In today's world, there are many cities with a plethora of skyscrapers - Hong Kong, Dubai,
Chicago, and Shanghai to name a few. But New York will always be special not only because it
was the first, but because it continues to have an ever-changing skyline with a multitude of ways
to take in the view. Furthermore, New York essentially has two major sections of sjyscrapers
that create two totally different skylines - the tall, corporate buildings of downtown near Wall
Street, and the monuments of Times Square. We rank the New York City Skyline second only to
Hong Kong's in the entire world, and there is some steep competition, literally.
