Strategically located in the Pennine Alps on the boarder between Switzerland and Italy, this tall mountain stands 4,478 ft. in the clear sky. It's one of the highest peaks in the Alps and its four steep faces actually face the four compass points. It is one of the deadliest climbs in the Alps, but don't let this make you stay away from our #68 AbsoluteVisit, just admire it from the bottom.
