It's pretty close to heaven.

Literally. Hong Kong has some of the most impressive skyscrapers in the world, around 7,650 actually. It's incredible for such a small space, there was no other place to build than up. So many high buildings make the view of the city magical. The International Commerce Centre is the tallest of them all, standing 1,588 ft. high and the third tallest building in the world. So take in the city view of our #51 and don't look down.

The Hong Kong view is located at the top of Victoria Peak, a mountain measuring up to 1,811 feet (552 meters) high. It is actually not the highest mountain in Hong Kong, but certainly provides the best view.
Victoria Peak was originally chosen to be the area of residence for many wealthy citizens of Hong Kong until it was later closed when it got too crowded. The mountain was chosen as a residence to those citizens for its spectacular views and cool climate.
The most common way to visit the top of Victoria Peak is by tram, one of Hong Kongs oldest forms of transportation.

A Weekend in Hong Kong

Hong Kong itself is spread onto several small neighboring islands. The business district of Hong Kong is located on a small island called Hong Kong Island which is reached by several ferries from Kowloon bay. We boarded the Star Ferry and were quickly on our way to Hong Kong Island. With a sea of skyscrapers that seemed to loom endlessly against the water of the bay, the city was truly spectacular.
