This 123 year-old monument in Paris, France is more than just a cool thing to look at. It actually serves as a radio tower and an observation tower.
The Eiffel Tower is approximately 990 feet (302 meters) tall, and only had one death occur during its construction.
Although it is often depicted in either nighttime images or as a light green color, the Eiffel Tower is painted dark brown every seven years, using up around 40 tons of paint each time.
The antenna on top of the Eiffel Tower is 78 feet (24 meters) tall.
The Eiffel Tower has 108 stories and a climb of 1,665 steps.
