The Egyptian Museum, or The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, in Cairo, Egypt is called the symbol of faith for Egyptians and consists of the largest collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world.
The Egyptian Museum holds over 120,000 items, some of which are extremely important to ancient Egyptian history and date back over 5,000 years.
Every month the museum displays the best object of the month on the ground floor.
One of the most popular exhibits of the museum is the tomb of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamen on the top floor. The tomb, first discovered by Howard Carter in 1923, includes ancient artifacts including a trumpet, thrones, and even a royal toilet seat.
Another popular site within the museum is the Mummy Room, home to 11 different mummies of royalty from ancient Egypt.
