Our path taking us from the Philippines and the
Banaue Rice Terraces to Indonesia and
Borobudur left us with a several hour layover in Singapore. Even though the Singapore airport is known for offering one of the
most comfortable layovers on the planet, the two of us were eager to get out and have a quick look at Singapore.

In the Chinatown district of Singapore, you can find food carts like this one nearly everywhere. On one particular stretch, we found dozens of carts lined up with tables and chairs surrounding them making the perfect spot for our first lunch in Singapore. We ended our search for lunch at this cart specifically as we fell for a helping of the Fried Seafood Rice and Lo Mein.
Although I can’t say this was my favorite food cart in the world, it was certainly delicious.
