Last year I had the opportunity to explore Chichen Itza for a day while vacationing in Mexico with my Dad. All of the basic shots I was taking of El Castillo looked incredibly boring and just like the thousands I had already seen online. I got lucky and found these two serpent looking animals to place in the foreground of El Castillo creating a more unique look that I think turned out great.
I wonder what percent of people traveling to Cancun take a day away from their relaxation to explore this Top 100 Site. My guess is it is less than one percent, which is a shame because it is amazing. If someone tells you they are heading down to Cancun for a vacation, make sure to share with them how close this ancient wonder is!
