Photo of the Day – Long Bay Point – Tortola Island, British Virgin IslandsThere are an endless number of condos in the Caribbean that offer beautiful peaceful views such as this one I captured on Tortola Island. What more could you want out of life than an unlimited supply of good, cheap rum and the cool ocean breeze?
Photo of the Day – Sailboats of the BVI – British Virgin IslandsIt is March in New York City as I write this blog. And even though this is one of New York City’s warmest winters, I sure do wish I was living inside of this picture!
This picture dates back to late 2007 when I went on a magnificent trip to the British Virgin Islands. (Thank you Peggy & Doug!) As our trip took place on a massive catamaran, we were constantly surrounded by water and this picture says a lot. The BVIs have magnificent blue water and tons of small islands to explore. You’ll also notice a plethora of sailboats here and, lets just say, this was a very small sampling. The BVIs also have a great culture about them as does the Caribbean in general. It’s so laid back that it’s often times hard for me to even get that relaxed. Just another reason I miss it.
The BVI’s are not my favorite island in the world, but its pretty high up there. What’s your favorite island?
