Photo of the Day – Streetfood Vendors at the Donghuamen Night Market – Beijing, China

Coming to this market was an amazing experience. As you may remember in a previous post (here), this is the market that serves up snake, starfish, scorpions and loads of other interesting creatures for you to consume.

This is one of the coolest markets I have ever been to and what helped was the extreme uniformity of the street food setup. As you can see, they were all server were wearing uniforms which at least gave the impression that whatever you were eating was somehow more … clean. I dunno, perhaps it was all in my head. But for me, I had to have something going on in my head to eat snake skin, snake, silk worm and scorpions!
