The hexagonal shape that seems to be endless and perfectly laid out across Salar de Uyuni (the world’s largest salt flat) brings me back to my days in Chemistry. This is a repeated pattern in nature (think honeycomb from bees) and it was extremely apparent in this case. A trip to the Salar is surely one that you will not forget as it is incredibly unique.
Have you been to Salar de Uyuni or another salt flat? What did you think?
