Back in February I ventured down to the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador with my Dad and Brother. The trip certainly lived up to expectations and the Galapagos Islands are still in my mind one of the Top 10 Places on the planet. There is nowhere else in the world that you can get as close to animals in nature. The experience feels literally like wandering around the islands as a ghost, observing the animals in their natural world.
I took over 12,000 pictures in the 8 days I spent on the islands. Here is the first of many to be featured on the AbsoluteVisit Photo of the Day.
