Americans are absolutely terrified of seeing their food in its raw animal form. We don’t do heads, we don’t do feet, we don’t do the insides, and we almost don’t even do bones. Basically, if anything that you sell me in a store or serve on my plate has any visual representation of the animal it came from – no thank you.
Markets around the world fascinate us. Could you imagine if this was where you bought your chicken breasts?
Any theories on why we are so “chicken” about our food?
