In the midst of an otherwise depressed, moderately dirty, and stressed city sits the meticulously clean and beautifully designed Cambodian Royal Palace. The palace is located in the middle of Phnom Penh and has been built in traditional Cambodian architecture. The buildings, walkways, and gardens making up the palace grounds are beautiful and bring peace and a glimmer of hope in a city that is plagued with a deadly and pain-staking history.
