On the same freezing December night that I captured this previous photo of the day (The Chicago Water Tower), I was crossing the street when I found this interesting vantage point.
As it was December, Michigan Avenue was lined with trees decorated for Christmas and there is, of course, a steady flow of traffic which you can see moving in both directions. Much like 5th Avenue in New York, there is certainly a buzz on Michigan Avenue around this time of year regardless of the temperature.
